Slow Down!!
Wow! What a week! My kids are so ready for spring break and so am I!!! It's in times like this when I get stressed and I'm tired and just worn out that I realize how much I really depend on God! I don't see how people who don't believe make it I mean seriously how?!? I find myself missing the simplicity of days gone by I never thought I would but the way the world is many times I just yearn for simpler days! I stopped by my parents house this morning on my way to work and my little brother just got up it was 7:00 am....I miss those high school days sometimes. lol...anyway enough of memory lane for now. I finished reading Acts today and I may actually go through and read it again it's a very inspiring book or at least it is for me. The thing that struck me this morning as I finished reading about Paul is that he went through so much and he knew it was God's will that he go to Rome. So he does all these things and testifies and could have been released but he insisted to go to Caesar so he set off to stand trial before him. On the way he was told by an angel they would shipwreck. He warned the others but they didn't listen and the prophecy came true. They shipwreck in Malta. I'm at this point thinking man this trip is taking forever .... then it says that Paul stayed in Malta for 2 years Boldly and without hindrance preaching the kingdom of God!!! WOW!!! Paul wanted to stand before Caesar he had been through harsh punishment and he had been treated as a criminal then when the oppurtunity came for him to share the Word he stopped his journey. He knew God's plan and he submitted to this! He didn't just preach a sermon or two oh no he stayed for 2 YEARS!!!! Wow my hope today is that we slow down and we submit to what God wants to do in our lives even if it means that the big picture takes a little longer to develope. Share your story and most importantly God's Word with everyone let your life be a living testiment to God! Love you all!!!

Thanks for sharing Lindsay.. That is something I struggle with daily. I need to remember that the plan is in place and all I have to do is surrender. Easier said than done. :) Bless you and enjoy your break.
