A Little Housekeeping in my Temple....

Well what a week it has been so far!  God is so good he always supplies it's just crazy.  I'm still reading through Acts and today I was in chapter 23.  I'm so intrigued by the life of Paul.  He started by trying to tear apart the ministry of Jesus and then spent the later years of his life fervently proclaming Jesus as the Messiah and preaching the gospel.  He was thrown in prision, beaten, mocked .... he continued until his death spreading the gospel even when he had once detested it.  WOW!!!  If God chose to use Paul then I'm certain he has a place for me too.  There have been times I've not held to my faith and fallen away.  There are times even though I know what I should do my flesh wins and I sin over and over again, yet my Jesus who loves me and thinks of me as his child, his bride, his love He forgives me and continues to use me as a vessel.  WOW!!! I'm just in awe of this marvelous God that I serve that loves us so much that he sent himself in the form of a baby to come and live and take on flesh.  This means he faced EVERY temptation we do and he NEVER sinnned.  He came and lived a life worthy of praise and he died a sinners death on the cross for US all of US.  I want to live for him and to tell people about him  I want to love people who others don't.  I want to love those who are rich, poor, straight, gay, republican,democrat, etc etc.  Jesus doesn't say to love the people who are loveable nope he says to love your neighbor as yourself...whos your neighbor???  Everyone!! So here's a challege live a life worthy of having Jesus's name on it so that when it's all said and done and judgement day comes you aren't standing there going I missed it I spent my whole life working to get to Heaven and now because that was my focus all those people are going to hell.  Heaven should not be our focus here on earth we should be focused on spreading the gospel the world today is no less in need of the gospel as it was when Jesus himself walked the earth.  So go out and spread the gospel and if necessary use words!!!
